Shawn -- a few weeks ago i asked for your help in picking the right system for my truck. you had told me the #14431 system would work for my year and engine size. so on your advice i purchased this system. now here is my story ---- after putting the front end up on ramps and a jack stand under the passenger side rear bumper, i got my trusty sawzall out and made one cut to the old system behind the rear muffler hanger. we then pulled the old tail pipe out over the rear axle -- easy as pie !! then we unbolted the flange between the cat-converter and the muffler and the front half fell out as easy as the rear pipe. we then got the new system out of the box and went to work ---- now here is the part you and gibson performance should be very happy with ---- i have worked on my own cars and trucks for years and never have i had an after market system fall into place and bolt up as easy as this system. i tip my hat to your "r&d" people for a great job and also to the gibson family for such a great product. now the kicker is we started this project at 9:30 am and finished up at 11:10 am and that included 2 cigarette breaks and this was all done in front of my apartment --- didn't get caught doing vehicle repairs --- hell we were done so fast they never even saw us. so if my math is right that was a little over one hour and 30 minutes from start to finish --- not to bad for "billy-bobs and festus repair shop, llc." --- ha ha. Again my thanks for such a great product and to all those responsible for the "r&d" allowing for a very easy installation. i would highly recommend this system to anyone !!!

- I was shopping for a replacement cat-back for my '92 Suburban on line. I called and ordered the aluminized system at a great price, 3 days later, it was sitting on my front porch when I got home from work. Upon opening the box I was immediately impressed with the quality of the workmanship ( I did not expect the stainless tip to be included ). It took only a couple of hours to install, and it sounds and looks great. I was very pleased with the Gibson experience and proudly display my included "Gibson" sticker on the vehicle

- I installed the Gibson cat-back system on my '98 GMC 5.7L Z-71 over the weekend. About 1 1/2 hours without a lift! The toughest part of the job was removing the old system without destroying parts that were to be reused. Everything fit as promised and the beneficial results of increased torque and what seems to be better gas mileage were immediately noticeable! The system sounds and looks great!

- I have a 1999 S-10 cylinder that I put a Gibson Swept Side Exhaust on and it sounds as good as a four cylinder could ever sound. I was scared to buy an exhaust for it because I didn't want that Honda sound, But this has a nice deep tone... I would recommend this exhaust to everyone. I just got my Swept Side yesterdayon my 2001 V8 4x4 Chevy Tahoe and I just LOVE the rumble when I step on the gas. The extra horsepower it gives compliments the larger tires after having it lifted. It's too soon to notice the change in mpg, but I'm sure I'll be saving a few gallons of gas. Since the gas prices in California are high, getting this modification was a good investment. - I love the quality that Gibson has! I put on the Swept Side System on my, 04' Sierra, 4.3L. It sounds great at wot and idling. Everything fits great and looks even better. However I wish it was a bit louder. What a great product. After researching different exhaust cat-back systems and talking with Gibson customer service I decided to order ther swept side exhaust system for my Chevy Avalanche. for my application, extensive trailering, I decided this was the best system to increase torque/hp without a lot of noise and without affecting my trailer as some dual systems will. Being a crew chief for my Son's racing effort, I always laugh when a manufacturer says the part bolts right on. I received my Gibson system yesterday. and did not have time to attempt the installation until late in the evening. from the time I took the tools out to start the job until I cranked the truck with the new system was exactly one hour, and that was on my back in the driveway in the dark with a drop light. Unbelievable quality and design. Most of the hour was spent looking for a new hacksaw blade to remove the old exhaust. The fit and look are outstanding and I could not be happier with the sound. Just right, healthy outside the truck and barely louder inside. Thanks Gibson for a GREAT!!!! Product.

- All I have to say is WOW! I just got the swept side side system for my 2004 Chevy Colorado with the I5 and Auto. Honestly, it is true, much harder to take off the old then put on yours. I did the whole job in my driveway, no jack no lift, in two hours. I just crawled under there, with about 4 inches in front of my face, and did it, everything fit AWESOME. After the install, I just had to start the truck. It auctually had a burble at idle, and a forceful hum at the slightest prod (it is an I5 afterall). If the sound was it I would be impressed. The power, without tuning of any kind, is simply great. If I were to guess I would say the Gibson put up about 10 hp and 10 ft/lbs to the wheels on my truck. I cant wait for some other mods to complement the great exhaust system.

- I just installed a Dual Sport Exhaust system on my 2004 Silverado 5.3L. Removal of the stock system and installation took an hour and a half and was very easy. All hangers, clamps, ect lined up right where they were supposed to. The sound is the best part, very deep, powerful sound when you are on the throttle, but mellow when at idle and quiet at cruising speeds. No vibration in the cab. There is a noticable horsepower increase, but I don't know about any improved gas mileage because my foot stays pretty much on the floor now.

- What a great system. Just installed a Dual Sport system on my 2004 gmc Sierra Z71, 5.3L. And I love it. Can't get enough of the terrific sound!! Heavy on hard acceleration, and deep mellow at cruising speeds. Just what I was looking for!!!! The stainless tips look great too!!! Just installed a Dual sport system on my 04 Silverado 5.3L ext. cab s-bed. Installation took 1.5 hours. What really speeded up removing system was to "wd-40" all original hangers flange bolts 2-3 times a day in advance and the fact that the truck only has 11k miles on it probably did not hurt either. Nice sound. Pleased with time of installation !!!

- I am extremely impressed with the initial power increase, throttle response, as well as the new "growl" that my Tahoe has!! Prior to installation, it was an ok sounding 5.3 liter Vortec V8. Actually, kind of sounded like a car! Now with the Gibson Dual Sport Exhaust installed, it "growls"! It has a deep, throaty sound, without any annoying sounds inside the vehicle. Now it sounds like it has a big engine, which it does! My buddies were impressed, and my WIFE even liked it!!! I will be sure to recommend Gibson to EVERYONE!!!

- I recently bought a Split Rear Exhaust System from Gibson for my 2003 Chevrolet S10 pick-up with a straight 4 cylinder, 2.2L engine. Installation was quite easy; getting the stock exhaust off was the tricky part. It runs good and gets about 2 more mpg. Definatly a good buy. The Gibson cat-back duals gave my truck an awesome increase in horsepower.

I just recently purchased a new Gibson Swept Side Cat Back System for my 1995 Chevy Extended Cab Long Bed Z71 off road truck. The Gibson Cat back kit was a perfect fit, it even had the flat spot where it goes above the cross member. The clamps and hangars were perfect. I wish to commend you on your products. The sound is great (my kids say it has BLING!). I already have friends wanting to order Gibson systems. I will be doing my Jeep Cherokee next and I will be ordering Gibson... - I recently ordered a cat back exhaust system for my 2004 Dodge Rumble Bee. I would just like to thank Gibson for a job well done. The installation was a breeze( done on my back in my driveway in under 2 hrs start to finish). The sound is awesome and even much better then I expected from a single pipe exhaust system. As for the power, it's still too early to tell as I have only put a few miles on since installing the system. Just wanted to let you know that the "Dual Sport", Gibson exhaust system you guys installed for my truck is great. I really noticed a big difference in terms of lo-end torque, and overall performance. While towing, I have noticed that my truck does not "search" for lower gears as often as it did when it was stock.The simple addition of your performance exhaust and an aftermarket intake system gave my truck 38% more horsepower on the dyno! I was really impressed, and I'm glad you guys were able to utlizie my truck for development. Thanks again, and I'm sure ill do business with Gibson Exhaust for many more years to come as my needs eventually will change to diesel products, and possible a motor home. Thank you.

- I just installed a Gibson 3" aluminized steel single exhaust cat-back on my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7L Hemi Quad cab 2wd. Good quality, it took me about an hour to install, everything fit. A real power increase. The biggest drawback is the cab resonace at 10 to 45 mph, drives me crasy in town.

- I installed your split rear system on my 2006, 4.7 V8 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab on Sunday. All the parts were included and it took just about 2 hours to complete. The directions were easy to follow and the system fits perfectly. The sound is... WOW, what a difference! I would not say it necessarily saves gas because it encourages the use of a little more throttle. It defnitely turns heads as I drive down the street. Thanks for a quality product.

- Three days ago I installed your stainless side swept system on my 2001 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab 4x4 with 3.9 V6. The system installed in about an hour and fit perfectly.
I immediately noticed a significant increase in power accompained by a deep, mellow sound. The truck feels like it has more power than the stock V8. With the 5 speed manuel it pulls hills in 5th gear that used to require a downshift. Gibson was recommended to me by another fireman in my dept, who installed one on his Chevy 4x4. I have already highly recommended your systems to other friends. One more thing that I love about it, "MADE IN USA", quality craftsmanship lives!

- Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know how much we enjoy your product. I installed the 3" CAT-back stainless exhaust system on my '03 Expedition. I was immediately impressed by the mellow, deep, powerful exhaust note. The Ford just seemed constipated. Well, the Gibson addition was just the "EX-LAX" that was needed. A real combined performance increase. Lots more torque and just plain open road accelleration. Oh, and did I mention a huge improvement in mileage? Before the upgrades, I was experiencing approx. 17-18 mpg @ 65 - 70 mph on the road. Now I am seeing a regular 19 - 20 mpg at the same speed. It may take a couple of years to justify the mileage increase to my wife, but the fun factor was well worth it. My Ford dealer said on the last service interval that it's the best running Expedition that he has ever driven. He will be recommending your products to other customers. WOW!!!

- I had a flowmaster muffler on my 1998 F-150 4x4 Supercab, 5.4L with 86,000 miles. After installing the GIBSON SWEPT SIDE EXHAUST. I went from a best of 13.89 mpg... average 13.2-13.5 mpg... to a 14.4 and last fill -up 14.82mpg. No other changes made to the truck or my driving habits... and this last trip even included using the AC at times. I wish I had purchased a Gibson System sooner.

- Well, I've had the swept-side cat-back on my '93 Ranger 4.0L V-6 for a few weeks now and LOVE IT! I could tell when I first removed it from the box that the quality was first-rate; your picture on the web doesn't do it justice. The sound definitely gets the attention of my fellow motorists but it's not obnoxiously loud like some other systems you can buy. My friend jokes that it sounds like a 308 Ferrari now! There's not only more power down low, there's more toward the top of the powerband too! If I'd known how much my engine yearned to breath free, I would have installed one a long time ago. - I got the Exteme Dual Exhaust formy 2004 Ford Ranger, and I love it. It took about 1.5 hours to install, and was so easy. Looks and sounds great. Thanks Gibson!! Two hours and fifteen minutes to install the extreme duals on my f-250 powerstroke. I've been hotrodding for the past thirty five years and i've never had anything to go on and fit this perfectly! The hardest thing was the rear hanger on the drivers side!

- I got my SUPER TRUCK EXHAUST installed about a month ago on my 1997-F-150 4.2L. The best exhaust i've hear for my truck. A deep racing sound, when you floor it you can really feel the HP gain. - I have Gibsons Stainless Steel Super Truck on my 1998 F-150. The installation was a breeze, taking off the old exhaust was really the longest part. Low rumble sounds awesome great product. I have had the Super Truck Exhaust for my 1997 Ford F-150 5.4 V8 for about 2 years now. The sound and performance are increadble, I get comments all the time on how good it sounds. Gibson is great in price , performance, and looks great. Plus, 2 years and not any problems, still looks great.

I recently purchased a Cat Back System for my 2003 F250 6.0 diesel. I was able to install this system in about 4 hours with the help of a sawsall to cut the old exhaust off and a can of WD40 to lube the factory hangers. The only problem I had was removing some burrs from the ends of the pipes. Everything went together easily and fit very well. The instructions were well written. The increase in performance was noticed the first time I drove the truck. I drive my truck daily and also use it to pull my 5th wheel trailer.

- I picked up a Cat back for my 3.4L Supercharged ( with 7th injector kit ) quad cab, 04 Tacoma. I was always told that you can't get any hoursepower out of an exhaust system after you install a supercharger, BULL !!!! According to my dash mount computer, I picked both horsepower and exhaust, 20 ft lbs. and 11 poines. I ran 3 tests before and 3 tests after and they are all with in a few precentage points. The conditions were identical because the install only took about 22 minutes, that's because everything fit like it was supposed to unlike other performance parts that I have bought in the past, great job Gibson. Great Power, Nice sound !!!!!

- I just purchased a cat back system (side swept) for my 2004 2.7L Toyota 4x4 Tacoma. I couldn't be more pleased. It sounds great and you can actually feel a performance difference. I am very pleased and would recommend this system over the Borla and Toyota TRD systems.

- My aluminized exhaust has seen four northern New York sandy, salty winters and has just rotted off my truck behind the muffler. I'm very impressed with how long it lasted. Usual exhaust only lasts a couple winters up here. My buddy's truck has been 2 winters and is rusty already. Gibson is excellent quality.

- Installed the system on a 454 P30 (34' 14,840 GVW) chassis Motor home --Economy increase, 6,000, miles is about 10%. Have not had to shift down since on any grade up to 7% sustaned. Prior required 2nd gear on most grades above 5% to maintain 45MPH. Would recommend without reservation.

Boat Mufflers
- I bought a set of 4" Gibson mufflers for my team Hawiian 28' Powercat. Out of the box they looked awesome. When I went to install them I noticed everything needed to install these bad boys was included in the box ( short of the wrenches). My wife who always wants to help with new parts on the boat asked if she could help. We got started and turns out everything lined uo with the existing screw holes from the offshore tips that were on the boat, so I said go for it put em on babe. Sure enough thirty mintes later she was done. I put the "ear muffs" on the drive and fired up the bat, from inside the boat it sounded sooo smooth and for a 1000 HP blown motor. I was very pleased. I slapped The Gibson sticker on the back of my boat and told all my friends how stoked I was. Since then two of my friends have put the same Gibson boat muffler on their boats.

- After 350,000 miles on my 98 Dakota, I discovered Gibson headers for the V6. Now at 400,000+ mi; MPG up from 18.5 to 19.7, and I can get 20+ any time I chose to set the cruise on 65. On-ramp speed up from 55 to 70. All on the sewage CA calls gas. AND it's really fun to drive now!

- I just purchase a pair of GP301 headers. If your in the market for headers , look no futher. The exhaust push is great, and the sound is boss. The edelbrock headers on my truck before, dont even compare Not a waste of time or money here. You guy's make solid equipment, keep up the good work. Buy Gibson, you wont be sorry!!

- The headers I bought from you are great! The power differance is like Day and Night. More torque, less noise with the system on the truck. The truck won at Sema 6 Years ago. Will be there again when finished.
